Senior High Conference Wednesday July 1, 2009

Reporter: R-Dizzle

Fourth day of the Senior High Conference has come and gone. Today was a bizarre day indeed; the most experimental. Today, after a long and informative lecture on the history of the Anglican Church from Jay, we traveled off campus to Chautauqua County Rural Ministries to clean and repaint their inventory room. "It was my favorite part of the day'" Father Dan smiles. After six hours and a coating of eggshell latex paint, the room was like new and we were shown off by a grateful staff.

After dinner, the Annual Senior High Talent Show kicked off in full force. Notable acts included the traditional Monty Python skit from from Glynn, Tim and Andrew B. Following was Beth singing "Already Gone" while accompanying herself on the guitar. Wrapping up the night was Glynn, Tim, Andrew T, and Andrew B. improvising the famous "Lumberjack Song" from Monty Python's Flying Circus. The talent show was Tim's favorite part of the day.

And then something truly bizarre occurred. For no reason, and through no fault of our own, a fire alarm sounded, sending the entire conference out into the rain. This was the best part of the day according to Natalie and Alexis Q. We stood out in the cold, wet weather for about five to ten minutes before re-entering and resuming normal activity.

During Compline, I was informed that Dominique and Meghan managed to cram themselves into one pair of pants. That's a talent that deserves recognition.

And that's the way the cookie crumbles,

Peace out ... R-Dizzle
